Buy, Build or Partner Strategy
Strategy that determines the most efficient way for a company to provide a complete solution.
While a company might be able to build, supply or write certain elements of a complete
solution, it might not be the most effective and cost efficient way to do so. Solutions can often be bought at
lower costs or are provided much faster by companies who have a superior expertise in certain areas.
Elements in question for technical products are components, system architecture, software, services and devices.

allow companies to focus on their distinctive, core competency.
